    Job Description:
    This person will be responsible for:
    -Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, such as motors, variable frequency drives, PLC’s, instrumentation, sensors, and various control systems.
    -Interpreting electrical schematics.
    -Performing electrical work including attachment of machines to electrical circuits.
    -Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems, such as pumps, valves, cylinders, and plumbing.
    -Demonstrating a proficiency in using test equipment (e.g. voltmeters, amp meters, etc.).
    -Troubleshooting equipment, such as feed mill, sprinkler systems, processing barn, and water wells.
    -Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining environmental sprinkler systems.
    -Operating various welding and torch equipment.
    -Actively seeking ways to improve efficiency and cost savings.
    -Ensuring quality and efficient fabrication for new construction.
    -Supporting Lot Maintenance and Facility Maintenance personnel by maintaining and repairing facilities around the lot.
    -Working closely with all levels of the organization.
    -Responding to emergency or high priority work, which may occasionally be outside of normal working hours.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    A. Production equipment troubleshooter and repair technician with the primary function of keeping scheduled
    production machinery operating efficiently with minimal down time.

    B. Must understand operation of a variety of production machines in this facility: Navigate touch screen controls at
    various levels, make parameter changes. Identify problems or suggest improvements for machine, both electrically
    and mechanically. Be able to take operational information of machine and apply it to repair the machine.

    C. Must have formal technical training emphasizing PLC, VFD, and other electrical devices used on equipment in this
    facility. The electrical technician must be able to effectively apply this training by troubleshooting and repairing
    machinery. Electrical wiring training and use of NEC guidelines is required. Must be familiar with 480 volt 3 phase power systems. Experience wiring electrical control panels, making schematic of panel, and detailing operation of machine in written and drawing formats.

    D. Must be able to use a multi-meter and other troubleshooting equipment for machine diagnostics. Must have experience
    using electrical and mechanical hand tools on production equipment.

    E. Must have hands-on experience working on Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)-controlled machinery, including
    machine operation and the ability to troubleshoot the machine:
    - Look at I/O cards and/or PC to diagnose machine.
    - Troubleshoot and repair machine electrically and mechanically.
    - Troubleshoot the machine electrically and make necessary repairs.
    - Understand PLC programming to troubleshoot and repair the machine.
    - Make mechanical or electrical adjustments to improve machine operation during production.

    F. Must be able to install, replace, and change parameters in a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and download program
    via PC or handheld to a VFD.

    G. Must be able to read and use U.S. and European electrical schematics.

    H. Must have knowledge of pneumatics: Component replacement, pneumatic logic, install and repair mechanical and
    electrical pneumatic components.

    I. Must be able to use a PC with MS Office - to document set-up sheets, create changeover sheets, and document problems
    in detail. Be able to upload and download VFD parameters, PLC program.

    J. Communicate with both Production team members and Maintenance team members during troubleshooting to explain
    and make repairs. Be able to specify and obtain data for any parts needed.

    K. Must be willing to be trained on industrial refrigeration equipment and other support equipment throughout the plant.

    L. Responsibility to clean up after any work you have performed. Certified or ability to be certified to operate a
    fork lift truck.

    M. Conforms to rules. Perform work in a safe and proficient manner according to guidelines, standards and instructions.

    N. May be assigned other duties by the supervisor as required.

    What You Will Do In Your Role
    As a Skilled Trade Intern or Co-Op you will work with our maintenance team on projects to improve efficiency and up time while learning new skills that will prepare you for future roles. Previous interns and co-op students have worked on various projects within one of our facilities including:

    Installing, calibrating, and maintaining Rotating equipment from small water pumps to high-speed multi-component compressor trains and Fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, boilers, furnaces and heaters
    Testing, installing, maintaining, and repairing: Electrical wiring and components Instrumentation equipment such as Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) & Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
    You’ll be working in a challenging manufacturing environment. The work is sometimes outdoors, sometimes at heights, and working around equipment that produces fumes and particles. So you’ll need to be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (don’t worry, we will provide it) and constantly moving throughout the plant including going up and down ladders & stairs. You’ll also work off-shifts including on-call and weekends.

    Currently registered as a student in an accredited post-secondary program in an industrial maintenance, electrical, or instrumentation technology program.

    What you’ll do
    The Process Controls and Electrical Distribution Technician provides support in maintenance services for process controls instrumentation equipment, sophisticate analytical equipment, and electrical systems in the chemical manufacturing plant.     About You:
    High School diploma or GED equivalent.

    You’ll be working in a challenging manufacturing environment. The work is sometimes outdoors, sometimes at heights, and working around equipment that produces fumes and particles. So you’ll need to be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (don’t worry, we will provide it) and constantly moving throughout the plant including going up and down ladders & stairs. You’ll also work off-shifts including on-call and weekends.

    Conduct thorough inspections of signal circuitry, equipment, and systems to identify and address
    problems and defects.
    Perform comprehensive testing of signal circuitry, equipment, and systems in accordance with
    FRA reporting requirements.
    Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve malfunctions in signal circuitry,
    equipment, and systems.
    Assemble and disassemble signal crossing warning device equipment as needed.
    Carry out maintenance, repair, and replacement tasks for signal communication circuitry,
    systems, and components.
    Efficiently plan, organize, and track information and activities related to signal circuitry and
    equipment, while providing guidance to team members.
    Take responsibility for excavation work, including digging holes and trenches required for
    installation purposes.
    Adhere to company and industry safety rules, practices, and procedures to ensure a safe working
    environment.
    Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, contractors, and customers,
    and handle conflict situations effectively.
    Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations, particularly those mandated by the
    Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).
    Qualifications - Required:

    Job Position Summary: This position is for a full-time traveling (100%) wind blade technician I, who will be responsible for carrying out duties in a safe and timely manner. Primary responsibilities include assisting and supporting the supervising/lead wind blade technician on blade repairs and inspections. Additional responsibilities include supporting the coordination of blade maintenance & repair activities, mobilization/demobilization from work sites, equipment & tool handling/maintenance. Responsibilities: ● Assists in mobilization of all repair equipment to site, including the transportation, setup, rigging and operation of up-tower blade access equipment. ● Performs LOTO and similar tasks with training on the job. ● Supports supervisor/lead tech on repairs on up-tower suspended platform or ground access, performing superficial, and nonstructural laminate repairs and/or blade inspections at the direction of supervising/lead tech. ● Assists with proper storage, handling and maintenance of all blade repair equipment. ● Assists with weekly inventory, weekly vehicle inspection & safety incident reporting. ● Contributes to WindCom’s safety culture, daily reporting of work progress/completion, and overall team objectives on blade maintenance & repair activities on site. Requirements: ● Proof of High School Diploma OR GED (Required) OR Associate Degree in a Technical Mechanical or Wind Energy discipline from an accredited college or wind technical school (Desired) OR equivalent experience. ● Ability to travel 100% of the time at least 8 weeks at a time. ● Willingness to work across the U.S. on holidays, weekends, and overtime as required. ● Meet specific weight requirements of WindCom and industry standards of 260 lbs. max. ○ Additionally, personal protective equipment of approximately 30-35 lbs. making the total combined weight of 295 lbs. max. ● Physical ability to climb a wind tower multiple times per day, walk on top of nacelles/across the hub, and work at heights in all weather conditions (up to 300+ feet). ● Physical ability to lift and handle repetitive weights up to 75 pounds. ● Be comfortable with working in confined space(s). ● Basic computer skills to operate Microsoft Windows/Office & Google Suite software applications. ● Must obtain or possess a OSHA-10 Construction, Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR/AED before start of employment ● Ability to obtain or posses a valid Driver’s License & DOT certification ● Ability to obtain or possess TWIC (preferred). ● Able to pass a criminal background check, MVR, physical and drug screening.
