Northwest Tech CSI is pleased to announce the addition of our newest Crime Scene Investigation instructor. Mrs. Leah Innocci has joined the staff at Northwest Kansas Technical College and will begin her teaching duties in the fall. Mrs. Innocci joins the staff from her current position with the Wyoming State Crime Lab as a Senior Forensic Analyst. She has also served the citizens of Wyoming with the crime lab as a latent fingerprint examiner certified through I. A. I. and as a trace evidence technician. Mrs. Innocci has also served as a death investigator for Laramie County Wyoming. Relevant trainings include blood splatter analysis and shooting reconstruction. Leah has also received training from the FBI in crime scene processing and crime scene photography as well as Post Blast Investigators School.
Leah has many memberships on her resume as well, including being a member of the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts, Certification Research Committee for ABPA, Rocky Mountain Association of Bloodstain Pattern Annalists, Scientific Working Group on Bloodstain Pattern Analysis and a member of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Leah and her husband are excited to move to Goodland and bring two daughters that will be enrolling in Goodland junior/senior High School. She joins current instructor Jason S. Showalter on staff and will help Northwest Tech become one of the premier CSI programs in the state. Welcome Leah and family!
