Kindi Bauman, was recently honored as the Northwest Tech Employee of the Month for January. Kindi is the Senior Administrative Assistant at Northwest Tech. Employee of the Month is an award presented each month to an employee that goes the extra mile to ensure all students acquire the best possible experience at Northwest Tech.
Kindi has been employed at Northwest Tech for three years. She handles High School transcripts, Northwest Tech official transcripts, class syllabi, competency profiles, handbooks and catalogs.
“Kindi has one of the friendliest personalities on campus and her customer service to our students is unbeatable,” remarked Northwest Tech President Ben Schears. “She’s a great representative of the college and this is a fitting honor for her to receive. She’s always smiling and always has a kind word for anyone she works with.”
Fellow employees decide on the Employee of the Month award. “I really appreciated receiving this award,” said Kindi. “I thought it was very nice. I am thankful for everything Northwest Tech has to offer, we are truly like a family.”
Kindi also remarked on her experience working at Northwest Tech, “Everyone knows everyone, you aren’t just a number here. You are cared about whether you are en employee or student. I love that anyone can have the opportunity to come out of Northwest Tech in two years or less and go into the workforce. The advice I would give to a new employee here at the college would be: open your mind to new ideas in order to build the college.”
Kindi enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, family and friends. She has two children and one granddaughter. She has lived in Goodland her entire life. Crocheting, walking the dogs and trail riding in the mountains are a few of her favorite activities.
