Position Title: Mechanical/Electrical Technician
Location of Position: Broken Bow, NE

Job Description:
This person will be responsible for:
-Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, such as motors, variable frequency drives, PLC’s, instrumentation, sensors, and various control systems.
-Interpreting electrical schematics.
-Performing electrical work including attachment of machines to electrical circuits.
-Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems, such as pumps, valves, cylinders, and plumbing.
-Demonstrating a proficiency in using test equipment (e.g. voltmeters, amp meters, etc.).
-Troubleshooting equipment, such as feed mill, sprinkler systems, processing barn, and water wells.
-Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining environmental sprinkler systems.
-Operating various welding and torch equipment.
-Actively seeking ways to improve efficiency and cost savings.
-Ensuring quality and efficient fabrication for new construction.
-Supporting Lot Maintenance and Facility Maintenance personnel by maintaining and repairing facilities around the lot.
-Working closely with all levels of the organization.
-Responding to emergency or high priority work, which may occasionally be outside of normal working hours.

Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
-Mechanical interest and aptitude.
-Electrical interest and aptitude.
-Welding, hydraulic, pneumatic, and water systems experience.
-Welding experience, knowledge, and skills.
-Experience with PLC’s is beneficial.
-Exhibiting mentoring and leading skills.
-Commitment to safety and quality culture.
-Excellent verbal communication.
-Self-starter and ability to work independently.
-Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.
-Driven, organized, action-oriented, analytical, and ability to multi-task.
-Individual must be team oriented.
-Technical / Vocational degree is preferred.

This position requires:
-Valid Driver’s License
-Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
-Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds of force constantly. Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, and lifting/lowering frequently; pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally; crawling and stairs rarely.
