[title size=”2″]COURSE PURPOSE[/title]

This program is designed for individuals interested in providing medical care to patients in the pre-hospital setting. It will provide participants with opportunities to gain information, skills, and attitudes necessary for certification and practice as an Emergency Medical Technician in the State of Kansas and National Registry of EMT’s.

[title size=”2″]COURSE PRE-REQUISITES[/title]

The following items are required for the course:

1. High School Diploma or GED
High school seniors are considered.

2. At Least 17 Years of Age
An EMT student must be at least 17 years of age to challenge State Board and National Registry Tests.

3. A Valid Driver’s License

4. An Earnest Desire to Help Other People
